💜 Walumarra Leaving Violence Program—Orange and surrounding communities

Leaving violence can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to take the next steps alone.

The Walumarra Leaving Violence Program provides confidential, safe and person-centred support for anyone leaving or who has recently left violence, regardless of gender, identity or background.

Depending on your circumstances and eligibility, support may include:

💳 Financial assistance and brokerage
🏠 Housing and practical support
🔗 Referrals and connections with local services

Every day, people walk through the doors of Orana Support Service looking for a hot meal, a drink, a friendly face, or someone who will simply listen. Some are existing clients, while many are members of our community who have nowhere else to turn.

As a community-minded charity, we are seeing the need for support continue to grow. To ensure we can provide more meals, more connection, and more hope to those doing it tough, we need the help of our community.

We're looking for compassionate volunteers to join our new Community Kitchen, opening soon. Whether you can spare a few hours each week or a little time each month, your support can make a real difference in someone's life.
