SOFT FALL SAND SAFETY | Sunstate Sands would like to provide assurance to our customers and stakeholders that our soft fall playground sand has been tested in an accredited facility and confirmed to be free from asbestos.

Our soft fall sand is a clean, natural washed product, free from clays, silts and other contaminants, and is specifically produced for use in playground and recreational environments.

Additionally, our product is certified to a 3 metre fall height when installed at the correct depth, in compliance with AS4422 Playground Undersurfacing Material.

Sunstate Sands is proud to announce we are now under new ownership!

De Gunst Transport, a well-respected, locally owned Bundaberg family business, has acquired Sunstate Sands, marking a new and exciting era for our operations. De Gunst Transport has been a trusted supplier of Sunstate Sands for more than a decade and recognised the strong potential of the business, leading to the acquisition by the new owners.

The De Gunst family plan to invest heavily in new equipment and advanced technology and have already expanded our tanker fleet to take Sunstate Sands to the next level in the rapidly growing industrial sands market. Their commitment ensures we continue to deliver the high-quality products our customers rely on, with even greater capability and efficiency.

Importantly, the familiar names you know - Darren, Matt, Jason, Marc, Aaron and Steve - are still here and still leading the way and serving your needs. Our core team remains unchanged and continues to drive the same strong service, expertise and reliability Sunstate Sands is known for.
