Ryan and I met in 2015, I remember it like it was yesterday. Coffee Club at Mater Hill as I attempted to woo him. He was fun, energetic and smart - exactly what I was looking for in my next HR Business Partner. Little did I know that at the time his true love had already been found in Steve. I don’t remember exactly when they asked me to marry them - I think it was in between questions at New Farm Bowls Club trivia night - anyway this isn’t about me - as much as I tried to make it so during the planning of this day.

One of the greatest honors as a celebrant is being asked by friends to celebrate their marriage. Thank you for having faith in me as I could not imagine sitting out there watching some other queen f**k this up for you.

Let’s cast our minds back to June 2019, life was much simpler back then!

It was a Sunday at Specsavers Brisbane CBD and these two lovebirds are meeting for the first
time, spending the day as one described as “berating” and the other as "paying-the-sh*t-out-of-each-other” and most definitely NOT FLIRTING.

Oh these two - so bloody cute!! A joy working with them for both ceremony and reception!

Getting to stick around and MC the reception is truely a privlidge to share in the full celebration and a popular booking choice for couples this year - without that I'd never get to see all the fun!
