Something a bit different!

We've marked these aluminium bars with a texturised pattern with our SpeedMarker 1300. These bars are used in vinyl welding and by having them texturised, the welds can now be near seamless!

A closer look at this incredible contour map of Currumbin we had the pleasure of creating! We had never done a large scale piece like this before, but we were certainly up to the challenge! 💪

A mammoth 21 layers, all individually scored and cut in a way that meant each additional layer still lined up with the scoring underneath. Extra time was put into the artwork to ensure that excess was removed in the lower layers to reduce overall weight.

It broke apart into 4 pieces for easier transport, with the break lines following along score lines in the artwork, so nothing was amiss!

Once put together, it was a whopping 1800mm x 1400mm and the finished product was just so cool, if we can say so 😂

Apologies for being MIA! Things have been a little hectic at Verge but we're back on socials to show you all the fun stuff we've been doing 🫶

We're now located in 📍Loganholme, right by the M1, which seems to be much easier for a lot of clients! It's a new year and a new shed, but the same quality production we have always prided ourselves on.

Cool little 10x zoom on the big laser in action! This was slicing through 20mm opal acrylic here, and it cut through like butter 😌

Fun fact: the laser beam isn't actually visible! What you're seeing is the tiny particles from the acrylic passing through the beam - like when you see dust floating through light rays!

We didn't want to take away from the beauty of this set as it was, so opted to give it a little touch of special on the decanter lid and it just looks gorgeous 😍
