Today we're looking back on a play space project with Indigo Shire Council from 2021. 🎉 We were engaged to develop a Play Space Review and Strategy to provide inspiration and direction for play space provision across the shire.

As a team, we understand the crucial role of quality outdoor spaces in promoting connection and development for children and families. We're excited about delivering successful park and playground projects in rural and regional settings.

For this project, we engaged extensively with the local community to ensure their needs and wants were heard clearly. We conducted online surveys, workshops, and pop-up "Kids Voice Sessions" in parks, to gather feedback from families, children and other residents.

The result? A strategy that reviewed the existing play parks and included clear recommendations for future development. We ensured these spaces would be safe, inclusive, and accessible. We genuinely believe that well-designed play spaces can strengthen social bonds and promote active, healthy lifestyles.🙌

If you'd like to learn more about this project, you can read more about it here - https://projectura.com.au/project/play-parks-review-strategy/

We're thrilled to have been a part of such an exciting project and are excited to continue this work across rural and regional Australia! ✨

Karina was thrilled to join the Tongala Place Based Plan Committee in their pitch to Campaspe Councillors last Tuesday night. Hearing the Committee advocating for the Tongala community’s vision, aspirations, and proposed future was a fantastic opportunity.

Working closely with this Committee and Council over the past 18 months has shown the power of community collaboration and its impact on shaping the future of our towns and cities. The passion and dedication of everyone involved in the Tongala Place Based Plan Committee are genuinely inspiring.

We can't wait to see the progress made as the Committee works towards realising their vision. Observing a group so committed to making positive changes in their community is incredible. Let's keep the momentum going and make Tongala an even better place to live, work, and play!

We're thrilled our work with the Canberra Region Joint Organisation on the Regional Community Strategic Plan project has been named a finalist in the Local Government Professionals Australia NSW Awards in the Partnerships and Collaboration category!

The Community Strategic Plan is the highest-level planning document for NSW councils, within the Integrated Planning and Reporting framework and articulates the community's aspirations for their local government area.

CRJO’s innovative approach resulted in numerous benefits for the seven participating member councils, including streamlined procurement, financial savings, shared capacity building, and keeping the community as the starting point and focus throughout.

We love working on projects that make positive change and a real difference in people's lives. This project enabled us to play a part in developing a strategic plan that will benefit the region for years to come. Read about our work with the project here - http://ow.ly/H9In50OnyNV

Regardless of the outcome on 1 June, we're grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such an inspiring and dedicated team. Here's to many more successful collaborations in the future!

We're all about giving back to our community, and we couldn't be more excited to support the Corowa Rutherglen Football Netball Club (CRFNC) during their reset year! The CRFNC's senior netball and football teams cannot play this year due to a shortage of players and flood damage to their clubrooms.

Our Director, Karina, is the mother of two footy-obsessed boys and has joined the Roos as one of the many local people stepping up to make a difference to see a solid kick-off to the 2024 playing year. Karina is working with the Roos board to prepare a strategic plan. Last night, she facilitated the first strategic planning session with the board to ensure a focused and collaborative vision for the reset.

The board's dedication inspires us, and we can't wait to see the positive impact this reset will have on the club and the local community. Way to go, CRFNC! 🏉

Ever wondered what the team actually does for our team monthly meetings?

It usually involves something like this:
☕The social check-in at a locally-owned café.
🗣️A half-day session to reflect on business status and development, strategic planning, and workshopping new ideas.
🥂The celebratory wrap-up over a well-earned lunch.

This month, the team took on the big smoke on the traditional land of the Wurundjeri people in Naarm (Melbourne).

We dropped in at Mr Tulk for an early-morning caffeine boost and then to The Wheeler Centre for Books, Writing and Ideas for an internal strategic and business planning session. We finished up at The Moat a timeless restaurant with a delectable menu.

The team values social connection and in-person interaction, which keeps us people-focused and energised to deliver meaningful projects for our wonderful clients!
