Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service Cradle Team have advised the road to Dove Lake is currently clear with the shuttle service operating from the Visitor Centre to Dove Lake every 15 minutes with the first bus at 10:20am and the last shuttle departing Dove Lake is at 4:00pm.
It is a beautiful day for a helicopter flight, a walk around Dove Lake, or a visit to Devils at Cradle.

While the weather alert has been cancelled, we still urge all bushwalkers to make sure they're properly prepared with equipment and are experienced in these conditions.

❄️⚠️ If you're considering bushwalking in western and central Tasmania today-tomorrow, please reconsider.

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Bushwalkers Weather Alert, with snow as low as 500m expected tonight into tomorrow (Saturday) morning.

If you do go bushwalking, you need to make sure you’re properly prepared with equipment and experienced for the snow, wind, and unusually cold conditions predicted.
