Built to break records. Refusing to bend.
He didn't just join the GOAT debate but ended it. One man against the stadium, every single time. Master of the mental game who outlast everyone else.

Banned, vilified, and unvaxed—he broke the era of grace with sheer grit, losing his freedom to play but never his conviction. They cheered for the others, closed the borders, and took away his tournaments—but they couldn’t take his throne.

One & only one — The Novak Djokovic with pure focus and domination in 🎾 tennis.

Must watch documentary for everyone — “Novak Djokovic: The Wolf in Winter”

🇦🇺 MIGRATION: BEFORE YOU PICK A SIDE — LISTEN TO SOMEONE WHO HAS SPENT A LIFETIME STUDYING IT.

Over the last few days, I have been attacked by few keyboard warriors who blindly follow their favourite political figures after I posted some facts against the current divisive sentiments which are being created by almost every politician. You cannot suppress my voice and I have already developed a thick skin to Partisans/Fanatics. I will keep advocating for the right & fair issues which need balanced approach whether it’s wage theft, frauds in Migration industry or biased propaganda which is being spread in the minds of almost every Australian.

Every politician is polarising the Australian society & Migration has become the most critical issue in Australian politics. Everyone seems to have a number:

-One Nation’s leader, Pauline Hanson: 130,000
-One Nation’s, David Farley: 306,000
-Liberal leader, Angus Taylor: 175,000
-Our current PM, Anthony Albanese: 225,000
-Billionaire politician, Clive Palmer: ZERO

Five very different numbers. But here’s the question most political arguments skip:

👉 What does the evidence actually say Australia needs?

One person worth listening to, is Professor Peter McDonald. He isn’t a politician. He is a demographer who has spent decades studying Australia’s population, fertility, ageing and migration. Peter McDonald is Emeritus Professor of Demography at the Australian National University and Honorary Professor at the University of Melbourne, with a distinguished career spanning decades in population research and policy.

He is a former Head of Demography at ANU and former President of the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population (IUSSP). He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia and an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for his contributions to demographic research and policy development.

His international recognition includes the IUSSP Laureate Award and the Irene B. Taeuber Award, and he has advised governments in Australia and internationally on migration and population policy. He was once described by our former PM Malcolm Turnbull as arguably the world’s leading demographer.

📌 And now, he has something important to say about Australia’s migration debate. In his recent article: 🇦🇺 “Australia’s migration system lacks something crucial — a plan”. Prof. McDonald examines the enormous disagreement over Australia’s “right” migration number. So who is right?

His argument is worth considering: Australia needs an actual population and migration plan — not just a political number pulled from whichever side of the debate you happen to support. And migration isn’t the only part of the equation.

- Population growth matters.
- Housing matters.
- Infrastructure matters.
- The labour market matters.
- Education matters.
- An ageing population matters.
- ‼️And most importantly the type of migration matters⁉️

In Prof. McDonald’s recent interview on channel 7’s The Issue, he also described himself as “pro-child” and discussed stronger family support, including increasing access to the Family Tax Benefit. His interview and article are worth reading/listening to — links in the comments.

And here’s my point:

‼️You don’t have to agree with Prof. Peter McDonald.
‼️You don’t have to agree with Pauline Hanson.
‼️You don’t have to agree with Anthony Albanese.
‼️You don’t have to agree with Angus Taylor.

But before deciding that “migration is destroying Australia” or “Australia needs more migration”, perhaps listen to people who have spent decades actually studying population change. Don’t let a political slogan replace a demographic fact.

Read. Listen. Check the evidence. Then make up your own mind. 🇦🇺

🚨 Visitor Visas Are Becoming Increasingly Difficult – Please Read Carefully:

The current visitor visa environment has changed significantly, and I believe it’s important to keep everyone informed.

Recently, we have been seeing:
‼️A significant increase in visitor visa refusals.
‼️Shorter visa validity periods.
‼️More restrictive visa conditions, like “No Further Stay” (8503) being imposed on approved visas.

Our advice is simple: ⛔️Don’t lodge a visitor visa application without proper supporting documentation, and don’t apply just for the sake of applying.⛔️ A poorly prepared application can have long-term consequences.

Today, we received three visitor visa grants, all with a “No Further Stay” condition being imposed — positive outcomes though, but not the way it was in the recent past. This was achieved through careful preparation.

One of those applicants was an elderly parent who had a strong travel history with multiple previous visits to Australia.

In another recent case, the sister of an Australian citizen was refused a visitor visa who was intending to visit Melbourne to support her Australian citizen brother who was undergoing cancer treatment. Following further representations and advocacy, her visa was granted on second attempt but with much shorter duration.

The current environment is challenging. A well-prepared application can make a significant difference—but only if the Visa Officer carefully considers all of the supporting evidence and submissions provided. In our experience, some refusals appear to overlook key aspects of an application, as we believe happened in the case above, where the initial refusal was later overturned.

⚠️ ⛔️Important Advice for Families with Elderly Parents: If your elderly parents are already in Australia, are eligible to lodge an onshore Aged Parent visa, and currently hold a valid Visitor visa without any restrictive condition imposed, then seriously consider lodging the Aged Parent visa application now if you intend to pursue that pathway.
The way migration policies and visitor visa conditions are changing, this opportunity may not remain available forever. Waiting could mean that this pathway becomes far more difficult—or even a thing of the past.

Stay blessed

As a migration consultant, I regularly work with families dealing with the delays, uncertainty, and financial strain caused by Australia's family visa system.

In a recent piece by The Guardian (link in comments), I shared the practical realities faced by these families—including cases where parents pass away while waiting decades for visa outcomes.

With significant migration reforms under discussion, addressing processing delays and providing clearer pathways for families remains a critical priority.

⛔️If we want real change, we also need to move this from “a quiet hardship” to “a national priority”. We MUST push our local MPs, ministers, and community leaders to stand up and demand a humane, workable solution for family reunification. I have been advocating for these issues for the past almost 15 years.

Our parents sacrificed to build our futures. Now, it is our responsibility to stand up for theirs, especially when department has started granting visitor visas to our parents with shorter durations.

👉What can you do today?

‼️Contact your local Federal MP—write, call, or set up a meeting to demand reform on parent visa allocations and wait times for family visas (especially parents & partners visas).

‼️Engage with community advocates and make your voice heard in ongoing migration policy consultations.

Thank you Ore for raising this important issue through your article on the Guardian.

As per ABC news report published today, Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke has postponed a scheduled appearance at the National Press Club. Key points covered in the report are:

‼️ Minister was set to unveil sweeping cuts to migration, which the ABC understands were internally contentious.

‼️The speech is expected to be rescheduled and the reasons for the delay are unclear.

‼️ Three sources familiar with the government's thinking told the ABC the minister had been preparing a package of measures to achieve a quick and drastic cut to net migration. It is understood the proposal was considered by cabinet on Monday.

‼️ Further sweeping changes expected: Mr Burke's proposed reform package was also expected to prevent the spouses, children and parents of Australian citizens and permanent residents from applying for family visas while they are in the country as tourists. ⛔️If this change is true then it will be a big change for family members of Australian citizens & permanent residents.⛔️
