I've met so many founders this month who have invested in a CRM like GoHighLevel… but are STILL paying for Calendly to manage their bookings.

And it makes me wonder… are you actually using the systems you're paying for?

One of the biggest advantages of an all-in-one platform like GoHighLevel (GHL) is that you can manage so much of your sales and client journey in one place, instead of juggling multiple subscriptions and manually moving information between tools.

Imagine this. 👇

Someone visits your website and books a discovery call.

- Their contact details are automatically captured in your CRM.

- A booking confirmation and reminders are sent without you lifting a finger.

- A new opportunity is created in your sales pipeline, so you can track where they are in their journey.

- After the call, automated follow-up emails can go out, so potential clients don't slip through the cracks.

Ready to move forward? You can send proposals, contracts and invoices, with follow-up reminders built into your workflow.

Once they sign and pay, your client onboarding process can kick off automatically, from welcome emails and questionnaires to internal tasks and notifications.

All connected. All happening inside one system.

You're paying for the technology AND spending your valuable time doing the work it could be handling for you.

I help service-based founders set up and optimise their CRM, booking systems, sales pipelines and automations so the day-to-day admin doesn't keep landing back on their desks.

📅 Book a Clarity Call through the link in my bio.

Let's look at what you're currently doing manually, what your existing system could take care of and how we can get it all working together.

It's Monday. You've got a business to grow… but your to-do list says otherwise.

Enquiries to respond to. Proposals to send. Clients to onboard. Invoices to chase. Marketing to keep up with. And a team that still comes to you for every little decision.

Sound familiar?

After 7+ years working behind the scenes of growing service-based businesses, one thing I've learned is this:

Running a business can be exhausting. But so much of that overwhelm is preventable.

Imagine if new enquiries were automatically captured and followed up. Clients could book calls without the back-and-forth emails. Proposals, invoices and onboarding were handled through connected systems.

And your team knew exactly what needed to happen next without checking with you every five minutes.

That's what good business systems can do.

A properly set-up CRM, booking system, lead management process and a few smart automations can give you back hours every week.

And those hours are worth more than you might think.

Let's say you charge $150 an hour for your services.

If you're spending just 3 hours a week on admin that could be automated or delegated, that's $1,800 worth of your time every month or $23,400 over a year! 🤯

Now imagine what you could do with that time instead.

More client work. Business development. Strategic planning. Or simply finishing work on time and enjoying life outside your business.

But where do you even start?

That's exactly why I've created my FREE 5-Minute Business Backend Check.

Answer a few simple questions about how your business currently operates, and you'll receive a personalised assessment showing:

➡ Where your business is relying too heavily on you.
➡ Where your systems and processes have gaps.
➡ Opportunities to save time through automation.
➡ What to prioritise FIRST to make your business easier to run.

Because you don't need to overhaul everything overnight. You just need to know what's not working and where to focus.

One of the most expensive mistakes I've seen founders make?

𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭.

Over the past 7+ years, I've worked closely with founders behind the scenes.

I've watched businesses grow, build incredible teams and create opportunities they once only dreamed of.

And I've also watched some of those same businesses go the other way.

While every business has its own challenges, one pattern stood out.

When things got tight, founders started cutting the very things that were helping their business move forward.

The marketing support keeping them visible.

The admin support keeping enquiries, proposals and clients moving.

The systems and operational support giving them time to focus on growing the business.

On paper, it made sense. Fewer expenses means lower overheads.

But here's the difference:

A cost is something you pay for. An investment is something you expect a return from.

And that return isn't always immediate revenue.

* Sometimes it's the leads you didn't lose because someone followed up.
* The hours you reclaimed because your systems finally worked together.
* The clients who stayed because their experience was seamless.
* Or the mental space to think strategically instead of constantly putting out fires.

That's what the right operational support can bring to a growing business.

And yes, business support expenses are generally tax-deductible too. That's worth factoring into the decision.

Of course, not every expense is a worthwhile investment.

But before you cut something, ask yourself:

"What is it costing my business NOT to have this support?"

Because sometimes, the support you're thinking of removing is exactly what your business needs for its next stage of growth.

If you're running an established service-based business and wondering where to invest next, what to systemise or how to get your time back, I'd love to connect.

I’ve sat with over 100 founders, and almost none of them had a lead problem. They’d find 10 or more leads, and onboard only 2.

What I kept seeing was a problem with how those leads were managed and followed up.

The DM got buried under 40 others. The website enquiry sat in the inbox. The referral from a friend was “definitely getting a reply this week”. And the lovely contact from that networking event? Two weeks later, she still hasn’t had that follow-up email.

None of it was because they didn’t care. It was because they were carrying every lead in their head, alongside the clients, the team and the family.

And leads don’t say no. They go quiet, and book whoever replied first.

When I build a lead system for a client, it does four things:
→ Catches every enquiry in one place, wherever it came from
→ Replies and follows up, even in the weeks life takes over
→ Keeps the “not yet” leads warm until they’re ready
→ Shows you your numbers, so you know which marketing brings in clients

Swipe through to see what a sound system looks like, and how I set one up.

If you’ve ever found an enquiry weeks too late, book a free Business Clarity Call. We’ll look at where your leads are slipping and what I’d fix first. Link in the first comment.

I built a free tool for founders, and I'd love your help testing it.

Whenever I start working with a founder, I ask the same kinds of questions. Where do your leads go after they enquire? What happens when you take a week off? Who knows how to do this besides you?

The answers show me where a business is strong and where it's quietly leaning on one person.

So I turned those questions into a free tool: the Business Backend Check.

It's for you if you've built an established service-based business and you can feel burnout creeping in, because every part of it still needs you.

In about 5 minutes, it shows you:

• Your Backend Health Score across six areas, from marketing and sales to systems and team
• How much your business still depends on you
• The one area to focus on first

I haven't shared it properly until today, so you'd be among the first to use it.

Would you try it and tell me how it went? I'd love to know whether your result felt accurate, and whether anything was confusing.

If you've caught yourself saying "I wish I had a clone" this month, this one is for you.

Most of what I share here is about auditing businesses, fixing systems and building better operational infrastructure.

That's often where the work starts.

But there's another side to what I do that I don't talk about nearly as much: Ongoing operational support.

I intentionally keep this side of my business very limited because when I step into a business, I step in closely. I learn how it works, what matters to the founder, what needs to keep moving and where I can take genuine ownership.

So rather than taking on a large number of retainer clients, I work with a small number of established businesses where I can become a trusted operational partner behind the scenes.

And this October, I have space for two more.

Two founders who don't need another person waiting for a task list.

They need someone who can step in, take ownership and keep things moving.

The goal isn't to give you another person to manage.

It's to give you someone who can take things off your plate and keep them moving.

If you've been thinking about bringing in higher-level operational support, now is a good time to have the conversation.

Comment CLONE below and I'll send you the link to book a complimentary Business Clarity Call, or you can book via the link in my bio.

We'll look at what's currently sitting on your plate, what could be handed over, and whether ongoing operational support is the right next step.

Two spots. Once they're filled, the doors close again.

If your business has grown but you're still running everything from your inbox and memory, here are the 3 things I'd systemise first. I've seen these make the biggest difference across 100+ service businesses.

➡Where your enquiries land.

Right now they probably come through email, DMs, your website and referrals, each handled differently. Bring them into one place (a simple CRM or even one shared board) so nothing depends on you remembering who's waiting.

➡What happens after "yes".

Write down every step from a client saying yes to their first session or deliverable: proposal, contract, invoice, welcome email, forms, set-up. Most of these can be templated or triggered automatically, and this is usually where hours disappear each week.

➡Where your team finds answers.

Keep a note of every question your team asks you for one week. The same few will come up again and again. Those are your first SOPs.

You don't need to fix everything at once. Start with whichever one made you sigh the loudest.

Which of the three is the biggest drain in your business right now? I'm happy to share ideas in the comments.
