We all feel flat from time to time and sometimes we struggle to pull ourselves out of it. The reason is because it can be very difficult to go from a negative state to a positive state in a single step. (it has to do with neural-chemical transitioning) Although there is a simple three step process that uses music to shunt the endocrine system and this induces naturally occurring hormonal chemicals in the body. (which then causes shifts in neural pathways) This clip explains it, it goes for 2:45. The intention is to lubricate the gears between feeling negative and positive. All emotions are actually good, but sometimes the issue we develop is that we struggle to transition away from negative states. (And get stuck feeling bad) The method in the clip helps the body and mind do what it should do naturally, but if you find that it does not work for you and if you are still feel stuck then I recommend consulting a doctor. Think of feeling sad as one gear of a car, it has its place, but the ability to shift in and out of it, for the appropriate amount of time is important. It's often a problem that is simple to fix but feels imposible at the same time.
Some of you will notice when you watch the clip, the reverse process can take you from feeling ok to fairly sh*tty. So knowing this you can put measures in place to mitigate or turn around a slide.
