Prioritization isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing what matters.
Most people don’t struggle with time management; they struggle with priority management. The real challenge isn’t fitting more into your day; it’s making sure the right things get done first.
Here’s how to cut through the noise and focus on what moves the needle:
🔹 Start with the Big Three – Before your day begins, identify the three most important tasks that will drive real progress. If you accomplish nothing else, these should still move you forward.
🔹 Eat the Frog – Tackle your hardest, most important task first. The longer you avoid it, the more it drains your energy. Get it done early, and everything else feels easier.
🔹 Use IDS to Solve Problems – Instead of wasting time on recurring issues, follow a structured approach: Identify the problem, Discuss solutions, and Solve it at the root. Stop putting out fires. Fix the system.
🔹 Eliminate Distractions Ruthlessly – Notifications, meetings, and busywork kill momentum. Protect your deep work time by setting clear boundaries, turning off alerts, and creating space for uninterrupted focus.
Prioritization isn’t just a productivity hack, it’s the difference between spinning your wheels and making real progress.
