Breaking News: Annual Wage Review – Wage Increase

Today, 2 June 2026, the Fair Work Commission handed down its decision in the Annual Wage Review for 2026.

Modern award minimum wage rates and the National Minimum Wage will increase by 4.75% from 1 July 2026.

The Commission has also announced additional structural adjustments for the lowest-paid classifications within the modern award system, including classifications paid at the C13 and C14 wage rates. These adjustments will be implemented through a phased transition process over the coming years.

Increases to modern award wage rates and allowances will take effect from the first full pay period commencing on or after 1 July 2026.

ASIAL has commenced reviewing the decision and preparing updated Rates of Pay Schedules for the Security Services Industry Award 2020.

Our aim is to make the updated wage Schedules and member guidance available in the members section of the ASIAL Website as soon as practicable following publication of the Fair Work Commission’s determinations.

NB. Superannuation contributions will increase by .5% (from 11.5% to 12%) from 1 July 2026.
