🌴 WE’RE HIRING: Welfare & Wellbeing Support Person (PALM Workers) 🌴

We’re on the lookout for a Welfare & Wellbeing Support Person to support our Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) workers from Fiji and Tonga —helping ensure they feel safe, supported, and connected while living and working in Australia.
✨ What you’ll be doing:
• Be the go-to person for worker support, guidance, and wellbeing
• You’ll support up to 30 workers (or fewer, depending on needs)
• You’ll play a key part in maintaining a structured Welfare & Wellbeing Plan
• Meet with workers at least fortnightly (face-to-face or virtual when needed)
• Helping resolve issues quickly and compassionately
• Keep clear records of discussions and any actions taken
• Ensuring workers always know how to reach you
• Supporting a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment
✅ What we’re looking for:
• A fit and proper person (including police checks & relevant clearances)
• Someone approachable, reliable, and culturally aware
• Ability to respond quickly when issues arise (including in-person support)
• Located within 200km of Culcairn, NSW
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Travel to appointments with workers if required (transport available)
• Willingness to complete PALM Scheme training and attend arrival and departure briefings
• Communicate with company representatives to ensure positive and effective issue resolution outcomes
• Ability to follow escalation processes for serious or critical incidents
