Come behind the scenes of my Slack channel this week. This is what "back pocket support" actually looks like.

In the last few days alone I've reviewed an exciting licensing proposal, helped a client work through a pricing dilemma she'd been sitting with for weeks, brainstormed a new workshop concept with someone who had 20 minutes between appointments, supported a client through a rough patch in a contract negotiation, and sent through three referrals across different members.

She took our first coaching session from the back of a horse float. That felt completely normal to me.

When Emma found me, she was burnt out. Not "a bit tired" burnt out. The kind where you look at 20 more years of working this way and genuinely can't picture surviving it.

She had been in other masterminds. Worked with other coaches. But the traction just wasn't there. She was still treading water, still carrying everything, still wondering why nothing was sticking.

My clients come to me wanting a coach, but they actually need this…

They need a strategist. They need implementation. They need tools that actually work and someone to hand them over without making it complicated.

The coaching part? That's probably the smallest thing I do.

What my clients tell me over and over is how easy I make implementation. Because I remove the guesswork. If there's a template that saves you time, you get it. From one reel she didn't even plan to post. Just something she made, put out there, and then watched take off while she was doing other things.

But let’s talk about what happens next.

Because going viral without a backend is just noise. You wake up a week later with more followers and the same revenue.

Sh*t no one tells you about running a business from the country, until you are actually doing it.

That the isolation isn't just geographical. It's professional. There is no water cooler.

No industry event you can just duck out to on a Thursday night. You are building something, often completely alone, in between school pickups and kids sport and whatever the farm or the town needs from you this week.

That the feast and famine cycle hits differently out here. When it's quiet, it's really quiet. And when it's busy, you're too busy to do anything about the quiet that's coming..

That "just put yourself out there" is the single most useless piece of business advice when you live hours from the nearest city and your local market can only take you so far.

That those power outages hit harder when you have scraped together a handful of time to work on your business. And boom. Blackout. If you are lucky like me that also means no phone service or water.

That you can be genuinely brilliant at what you do and still not have a reliable way to bring in clients. Those are two completely separate problems. So you assume the quiet means something is wrong with you, or your offer, or your prices. When actually it just means you don't have a system yet.

That you'll spend a lot of time doing things that feel productive — posting, downloading, researching, planning — and still end the week wondering why nothing has moved.

None of this means you're behind. It means you've been building without the right infrastructure. And that is a completely fixable problem.

If I were doubling down on getting 3 New Clients in the Next 3 Weeks.

This is what I would focus on right now.

For starters it wouldn’t be 6 hours redesigning my Canva graphics. Or downloading another AI prompt pack hoping it magically fixes my pipeline.

Because the internet is loud.

Everyone has an opinion about what the algorithm wants.

Post more reels.
Start a podcast.
Build an AI sales agent.
Automate everything.
Create a funnel.
Fix your messaging.
Nurture harder.

So it is really hard to cut through the noise and actually figure out what to anchor into.

If I wanted 3 new clients. I’d be focused on activation.

In this weird AI world we live in, I’d lean into actual conversations.

Checking in.
Following up.
Inviting.
Opening doors.

Making it easier for the right people to say yes.

This converts faster than almost anything when done well.

But I know these conversations can feel uncomfortable and you don’t want to feel desperate. Or make the other person feel awkward.

But there is a massive difference between awkward pitching and strategic outreach.
One feels gross. The other feels like leadership.

I know there are people already in your world, ready to become clients.
People who have already told you they are interested.
