During June and July I had the pleasure of teaming up with Matt from Captains Timber to tackle a tricky rotten deck repair, which seemed to grow with every plan of repair we made. That's boats! Though, I think the end result was worth the effort and occasional swear words.
To be honest, rot repair isn't really something that excites you to get out of bed on a cold winters morning! It is mostly messy, dirty work. On boats, laboriously slow. Yet this job is up there as one of the most memorable experiences of my career. Not because of the boat, although she is a beauty. But because of teaming up with a bloody legend. This is one job I couldn't have done without all of your help, knowledge and many laughs.
