From the boardroom to back on the tools, this one was pretty special!
Our Managing Director, Matt, recently swapped his desk for his work boots, joining the Leadsun team in the remote Northern Territory community of Areyonga/Utju for a project close to our hearts.
As part of@solarbuddy_global Illuminating Communities initiative, our team helped bring solar lighting to the community, installing six AE3 solar streetlights along the previously unlit road leading into town.
For us, this was about so much more than lighting infrastructure. It was an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a remote community, work alongside some incredible people and see first-hand the difference that collaboration and renewable technology can make.
We're incredibly proud to have been part of this initiative alongside SolarBuddy, Red Dust, Toyota, Areyonga School, MacDonnell Regional Council, and the local community.
A special shoutout to our team, particularly Mark and Graham, whose hard work and dedication helped bring this project to life.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing the backstory including the challenges of working in such a remote location, installation of the new lighting system, school STEM workshops and the people who made it all possible.
