Please note, that if you require gas and live in outer areas of Peppermint Grove Beach, Lowden, Brookhampton, Yabberup, Kirup, Paynedale or Capel River, there is an additional travel fee included in your pricing, please be sure to select OUTER AREA 45kg bottle to cover the additional travel required.

Those heading south for the long weekend ... I genuinely hope you've got a solid plan and a backup plan, because this weather setup is looking nastier with every model run.

The latest modelling is going from bad to worse, with some guidance now suggesting wind gusts around 140-145km/h near Cape Naturaliste and adjacent coastal areas by Sunday evening. Even locations from Preston Beach through Bunbury, Busselton, Dunsborough, Margaret River and Augusta are showing the potential for extremely dangerous winds if this deep low develops as currently forecast.
(NOTE THIS IS FOR AROUND 6PM - THIS WILL EXTEND FURTHER NORTH DURING THE EVENING SO NO THIS DOES NOT RULE OUT PERTH)

This is not one of those situations where you simply say:

❌ "It'll probably weaken."
❌ "The forecast is always wrong."
❌ "She'll be right."

This is a system we've been talking about for over a week, and confidence continues to increase that a significant severe weather event will impact large parts of the South West Land Division.

⛺ If you're planning on camping in a tent anywhere between Lancelin and Albany this long weekend, now would be the time to seriously reconsider those plans.

This is not your average winter front.

If you're travelling, camping, towing caravans, boating, fishing, or heading away for the long weekend, keep a very close eye on forecasts and warnings over the next 48 hours.
