It is now ready for cementing, normally I would do both sides in the one sitting, except due to the size of the piece, turning it over before the cement had hardened could be risking disaster. I will do the other side in about 3 days. Then I am going to create a frame for it to free standing in my garden.

The hard part is complete, I can now cut out pieces to the correct shape and size now. It is looking fabulous now.

The continuing saga…
These photos show once I grinded parts of the orange piece so it fitted in the cane between the ying and Yang symbols I was left with this huge space. Hence the new piece I cut in the next photo. The last photo shows accurate you have to be with your cutting. Rookies think that because of the cane lip you can get away with this, but the lip is only a few millimetres, hence all the grinding work.

What was I thinking?…I took on completing this partly made leadlighting panel, not thinking about the BIG NO NO that the person has done when starting to build the panel. I think the video says it all.

Only a couple of days away, frantically getting the last minute jobs done. I hope to see you soon.
