Great times on a roadtrip to Marlinja community to check on this solar grid connected system with battery storage.
I love it when other people, like the Minister here, appreciate line graphs as much as I do.

Tasmania is 100% self-sufficient in renewable electricity, confirming our status as a world leader in renewable energy generation.
Every Tasmanian should be proud that our State is the first in Australia & one of only a handful of jurisdictions in the world to achieve this target. πŸ‘
I announced this landmark achievement today at Granville Harbour as the 29th wind turbine officially came online. πŸ’¨
Our renewable energy commitment is creating investment and jobs across Tasmania. πŸ‘©β€πŸπŸ§‘β€πŸ’Ό

Saltwater Solar are lucky to work in some of the Territory's most stunning places, with some great people! This week the team completed our end of year maintenance trip to Central Arnhem Land.

We installed this system two years ago at Barrapunta outstation on Emu Springs in partnership with Mimal Land Management, supplying 50kwh of solar power to the community and assisting the outstanding work of the local Indigenous ranger team. Big thanks also to our Australian Wildlife Conservancy hosts Chris and Heather at Wongalara who are investigating converting their 1 million hectare cattle station and wildlife reserve to solar next year.

We've just finished this solid little 20kwh solar system for residents of Jilkminngan community at Elsey Station, on the banks of the NT's mighty Roper River. The system will supply 10kw of solar with a world-class 7.5kw Selectronics invertor (made right here in Oz) and power the community's new drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre, allowing families to reconnect and heal on country in a fully-equipped community centre.

Great to work with the Jilkminngan community and JCAC, we wish you the best with the community centre going forward! β˜€οΈπŸ‘Œ
