DJI Dock 2 is now AVAILABLE!

DJI Dock 2 can facilitate automated drone missions with a range of key features and capabilities:

✅ 35kg lightweight and compact design;
✅ IP55 Dock and IP54 Drone Ingress Protection;
✅ 50-minute maximum flight time;
✅ 10km operating radius to cover most remote sites (or overlap with multiple systems);
✅ 400-cycle battery cycle life for reduced per flight cost;
✅ 6-directional obstacle sensing system and ability to import obstacle data to improve flight safety;
✅ Cloud API to utilise third-party platforms for cyber security protocols;
✅ Cloud mapping, model comparison, intelligent functions and live flight controls;
✅ Remote mission planning and scheduling, and custom georeferencing; and
✅ Options for RGB, thermal and mechanical shutter payloads and sensors to support different use cases.

We're pleased to announce that we've been awarded a multi-year Major Services Contract with Oil and Gas giant INPEX following a highly competitive tender process involving local, national and international businesses.

A new multi-year services agreement with SKYMAX​ will see the Northern Territory company deliver asset inspection and survey services using drone technology to the INPEX-operated Ichthys LNG onshore facilities.
INPEX Onshore Implementation Manager Mark Wilson said using drones minimises the need for INPEX and its contractors to work at heights for maintenance inspections.
“The drone technology is innovating how we work and making it safer for our people so we are really pleased to partner with a local Darwin business on this contract,” Mark said.
Alongside expanding the use of innovative drone technology at the Ichthys LNG onshore facilities, SKYMAX plans to expand and upskill its local workforce to support the contract.

We’re pleased to announce the arrival of our new LiDAR (Laser) Scanning unit which builds upon our existing capabilities to rapidly laser scan and deliver large scale projects here in the Northern Territory and across Australia.

Our new RIEGL UAV LiDAR unit features state of the art laser scanning technologies to produce extremely accurate, high point density datasets and when combined with the expertise of our pilots, in-house surveyor and high-speed cluster computing infrastructure, means that we can now deliver high spec engineering survey projects with a dramatically reduced turnaround.

Skymax will be supporting its distribution of DJI's products here in the Northern Territory by offering a range of services including the supply, maintenance, repairs and ongoing training for our customers.
