HK has two key operational areas Money Management and our Registered Training Organisation
HK Money Management service is focused on improving financial literacy and knowledge to individuals and Indigenous communities by providing education and intensive support in Money Management which include conducting community education workshops and/or the DSS supported Approved Money Management course. Ou

r team empowers people to:
• Make better and informed decisions about managing their money
• Plan and set goals for items such as white goods, furniture, cars, boats and leisure goods and to put something aside for their children and the future
• Better use of financial services to manage their household funds and access technology such as ATMs and phone and internet banking
• Be aware of their rights and responsibilities as consumers and know how to avoid exploitation when using their money
• Better deal with financial hardship and money stresses
Our Registered Training Organisation has a special focus on remote Indigenous people and aims to:

• improve the access to training;
• provide quality training;
• be flexible in delivery styles and options;
• support learners throughout their training; and
• develop a relationship of trust and respect with learners.
