Hello everyone! It has been a long time since I posted and a lot has changed! Firstly I have a new back, it's brilliant and being almost bionic is pretty bloody great! Secondly, due to afore mentioned shiny new back I am no longer cleaning. I am however still carrying out support work. Helping people to live their best life has been my goal from the beginning and I would love to continue doing so! I currently have 2 support clients but would like to take on at least 2-3 more. I see my current clients on Thursday and Friday morning, I am available every other day and am also happy to work weekends. As I have mentioned before, I charge far less than most support workers because what is the most important thing to me, is that clients get MORE time for their funding. I pride myself for going above and beyond when it comes to my clients homes. The devil is in the detail, so things like cleaning the hair out of a brush and squeezing the toothpaste to the top of the tube are done in every bathroom I clean 😊 It's the little things that give me the greatest satisfaction 😁

Anyone else consider lists a challenge? This was a big one and it was not intended to be finished in one day 😉 With the exception of the hallway and laundry walls, I powered through most of it. So let's talk about "extras". Most of this list would be considered extras by some cleaning companies. I don't believe in charging for extras. Whatever a client wants done in the time they are paying me for, gets done. Ovens, windows, walls, some cleaners even consider kitchen cupboards and bins extras!! Kitchen cupboards and bins are part of my standard kitchen clean. ESPECIALLY the cupboard that your bins live in! I even scrub the plugs for the sink, anything that can harbour smells or yucky bacteria get the Chores and Chats clean and shine. I have been told that I charge too much by a few people that have messaged me inquiring about cleaning. That's fine, everyone's budget is different but make sure to ask whom ever you hire to clean your home what they consider "standard" and what is "extra". I can't help everyone but I CAN make sure you are getting the best value and the highest standard by keeping you informed ☺

I love cleaning. I am excited to start the day, everyday. It gives me the greatest sense of satisfaction to be able too make things sparkle and shine. But the greatest sense of satisfaction I get is seeing the positive impact that my work has on my beautiful clients lives. They are what make this job the best in the world, from lovely thank you messages every time I have been, putting everything up off the floor to save me a few minutes or bringing me a delicious coffee, I am really so very lucky!

I LOVE my Thursdays with the beautiful Stocker Family. Lunch box baking all done...for a couple of weeks at least ☺ 4 hours of baking and the best bit, all cleaned up, washed up, dried up and put away before I left 😊

Hello there! My name is Megan Mills and I am the owner operator of Chores and Chats, a new domestic assistance service business that takes care of both the physical needs of the home and the emotional needs of the client. I will do housework, washing, meal preparation, and pet care. I will also take clients to Dr appointments, do grocery shopping, go to coffee or lunch or just find an adventure! I believe that these kind of services should be affordable for everyone and in the current market, companies are charging from $65 upwards per hour. This is out of reach for the average person. My rate will be far more affordable and accessible for those with no form of government funding. I have an ABN and will be able to provide invoices for services for anyone needing this for the ATO or the NDIS. I will accept cash, debit and credit cards and will take payment upon completion of the service provided on that day. I am completing first aid and CPR in December and I hold a working with children blue card. I will also be insured. I have worked with children for the majority of my adult life and I have also worked in aged care. I am currently a high school teacher aide. I believe I was out on the earth to help others and feel that I will be able to exactly that through this business 😊
