In 1983 the Ash Wednesday Fires ravaged the valley and hillsides where winemaker Peter Newman & his wife Heather’s Boonah Mists vineyard is now situated... At 385 meters altitude in the foothills of the Otways, Boonah Mists is twenty minutes inland from Lorne via Deans Marsh in Victoria.
