Hi All

A quick message about an opportunity with the Seed Mob.

It's August already and since NAIDOC the Seed Mob have been making some big plans for the rest of the year and they can’t wait to invite you to be a part of it!

This October they are hosting one big deadly summit and they want you to be part of it!

Last year they held two deadly summits, in Gimuy (Cairns) and in Boorloo (Perth). From those summit weekends they saw over a hundred young people come together to yarn, plan, and build strong relationships. It made such an impact for some that they joined the national leadership team (NLT). The work undertaken has strengthened their network, delivered thousands of submissions and petitions, backed community projects in places they’ve never been before and ran NAIDOC stall after NAIDOC stall. Truly the dedication of our young people is unmatched.

And now it’s time to do it all again!

They’re bringing together as many young mob as they can to build relationships, plan for the future and strengthen our communities. It would be awesome to have Kimberley young mob part of this year's summit too. So, if you are a Kimberley young person check out the details. If you are someone who works with young mob, please share this information with those who may be interested.

Seed Mob summits are open to any young mob (15-35*ish) wanting to be a part of the movement to protect Country and care for communities. If this sounds like a weekend you don’t want to miss please submit your expression of interest before September 4th.

The Details:

When: Thursday 15 - Monday 19 October 2026 (including days of travel)
Where: Dharug Country (Blue Mountains)
Who: Any young Aboriginal and/or Zenadth Kes mob (15-35ish) keen to expand
their knowledge and networks in the fight to protect Country

rooted in protecting Country.

Submit your interest now! All applicants will receive notification of their expression of interest status after applications close on September 4th.

If you have any questions or just want to yarn, feel free to reach out to [email protected] or directly to the team on on Instagram.
