ACCOUNTANT ROLE - Goodstone Group is a multi-company organisation operating several businesses on the Northwest Coast of Tasmania. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Accountant to join our finance team and support the financial operations of our group entities.
Located in Devonport CBD in brand new purpose built offices, this Full Time Role offers attractive salary package, commensurate with skills and experience.
We're looking for an experienced Accountant to manage the financial processes across our group. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, environment and can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies across the group's finance function
Manage day-to-day accounting functions across multiple group companies
Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Identify and resolve financial discrepancies through strong problem-solving skills
Assist with systems integrations across accounting and finance platforms
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
What We're Looking For
Relevant accounting qualification
Proven experience in company accounting environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Experience with accounting systems integrations highly regarded
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
