The scarcity of my posting is due to taking on a new full time degree and continuing lifing mothering duties. The good news is students get a whopping 4 month summer holiday so plenty of time for tenting and making!

We have returned from Electric Fields having had the most excellent time & a most proper last whoop whoop for our lovely tent before we give it a good old scrub & tuck it in for the Winter. It was perfect in the kids field as & hosted clay modelling workshops, ZooLab & Glasgow Science Centre.
Elsewhere our friend Mr Fox’s tent hosted the brilliant Glasgow Festival of Burlesque which entertained to the max! Respect to those girls.
Leftfield, Noel Gallagher HFB, Baxter Dury, The Coral & plenty more all played a blinder. The settings around the site of Drumlanrig Castle were beautiful.
Here’s to next year!

So we are now reaching the end of our summer season. The Super Tent Maker Man otherwise known as Guy helped us get the tent all ship shape this morning for our final job of the year.
It's been a great summer & I would upload videos but I can't seem to do it anymore on this page?! I think I'm being punished for not using my personal fb account enough!

We took down at Sunrise festival Monday when we were the adorably named Ladybird Tent for the little 'uns & next week we're heading up to Electric Fields festival in Scotland for a family holiday & last tent hoorah, before we lovingly tuck it away for Winter.

Then get ready for some serious flouncing around in my reproduction vintage finery!

I’m not the strongest, the fittest, or the best but I am capable & always willing to take my equal share. The windmill technique is the only way for me to drive that stake into the ground & I’m bloody proud of it!
Sometimes you have to work hard for equality, most of the time you should just assume it.
