🌈 Reflecting on "Coming Out: To Yourself, To Australia, To Your Home" Event 🌟
🙌 Thanks to everyone who came along. Your presence and support made this evening truly special, showcasing the power of unity and understanding within our diverse community.

🤗 Many audiences felt thankful for such an event that welcome LGBTQIA+ international students warmly. They found comfort connecting with diverse people and making new friends.
💪 The panel's insights really hit home. People left feeling more confident about being themselves.
🌟 We believe that everyone has the power to be themselves, no matter where they are in their gender and sexuality exploration journey.
🌍 Remember, we all play a role in supporting our qu**rs friends. Thanks to all the allies who came to support.

🙌 Shoutout to ISLA volunteers led by City of Sydney for their enthusiasm and support. They set a great example of being good friends to our LGBTQIA+ community. Ismail, Kalyani, Evonne and Rishabh.

🔜 And this journey continues. Follow feifei_curiosity for updates and keep an eye out for 'Our Point 3,' an emerging new not-for-profit organisation, helping LGBTQIA+ international students, alumni, and friends.

This Tuesday, we launched the Voices of Us Podcast Series at Library at the Dock. It has been quite a journey. Thank you for all who joined us in amplifying the voices of LGBTQIA+ international students.

The 6 podcast topics are selected from the reference group interview. The 6 podcast recordings were scheduled at Kathleen Syme Library with our amazing speakers Rames and Coby

We want to the most authentic stories and feeling of multicultural q***r communities. Thank you all for joining us in this journey. And it is just the beginning!💞

Introduce VOU last podcast speaker 🌈

Elvis Martin (He/Him) is a social justice advocate who has managed to overcome very difficult circumstances and inspire many with his advocacy for social justice. The recipient of awards such as National young Community Achiever of the year. Elvis has worked, volunteered and spoken publicly in many roles, addressing mental health, homelessness, family violence and LGBTIQA+ community issues. Currently Elvis as Principal Ambassador of Youth Development Australia, government LGBTIQ taskforce member and on the Board of VMIAC. He uses his platform, including a large social media following, to promote inclusion, diversity and equality for all.

In our third workshop, thanks to our talent facilitators Alexandra Moon and Le Luo to bring participants a fun and active experience in filmmaking and theatre exercises to explore the different layers of their identities!🎭

𝘽𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙄.𝘿.𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙮_ Amazing sound experience workshop with Alexander Meagher.🥰

Alex's workshop centres around graphic scores: music that uses visual elements and symbols outside of traditional music notation (like line, colour, shape, etc.), our students got to explore the energy, awareness, surrounding and their thoughts!🧚‍♀️
