Three levels, three very distinct experiences, all inside one of Malvern's oldest pubs.

🔉 The ground floor is the public bar.
🔉 Level 1 is Flores, a w**e bar and Mediterranean eatery, where linear uplights to the ceiling beams give the space a warm glow.
🔉 Level 2 is Lately, a cocktail lounge with a DJ setup and RGBW colour-changing LED strip to the curved banquettes for a moody, intimate vibe.

Built for late nights, we installed a 160" LED wall in the b**r garden, DALI lighting with Dynalite control, dedicated power to the commercial kitchens, data cabling for point of sale and waiter stations, and a full audio system that the staff run from an iPad.

Every so often you Google your own business and something like this comes back. In-home nightclubs and hidden panic rooms are not how we would have opened. Still, it is not wrong either, and it is more interesting than "integrated electrical and automation contractor". The rest holds up too.

Twenty-plus years, a few NECA Victoria Excellence Awards, and a long run of projects that turned up without a standard drawing attached. Those are still our favourite ones to get.

Total Fusion took out Commercial Small and Rodd & Gunn took out Commercial X-Small at the 2026 NECA VIC Awards. Two very different projects, same result.

Maison Bâtard: three restored Victorian heritage buildings, two floors, a late-night supper club and a rooftop terrace, all on a tight construction timeline.

Highlights: temperature-controlled w**e cabinets for rare bottles, a Philips Dynalite lighting system with scenes for every service, vaulted ceilings lit with a restored antique chandelier, and a full commercial audio system built for a supper club and nightclub alike.

Our most challenging electrical install yet, and one of our proudest. A true legacy project.
