Last week the team partnered with Hanwha Defence Australia to take our work experience student, Adelei, on a tour of Hanwha Defence Australia's H-ACE facility and provide a unique behind-the-scenes look at the defence industry.

As a trusted security partner at the H-ACE facility, with GippsSAFE Security personnel providing on site security services, it was fantastic to showcase the broader work being undertaken at this world-class defence precinct and the career opportunities it creates.

At GippsSAFE Security, we're proud to partner with industry leaders to create meaningful opportunities for young people exploring future career pathways. Today's tour gave Adelei valuable insight into the exciting possibilities available within Australia's growing defence sector as she considers her options after graduation.

Thank you to Hanwha Defence Australia for supporting local career development and helping make this experience possible.

On Saturday night, the GippsSAFE Security team had the pleasure of attending the Olivia's Place Gala as a proud Silver Sponsor.

It was a fantastic evening filled with great conversation, laughter, frivolities, catching up with old friends, making new ones, and enjoying an evening with like-minded members of our community. Most importantly, it was an opportunity to support and help raise funds for the incredible work undertaken by Olivia's Place.

We are honoured to support the important work of Olivia's Place and congratulate everyone involved in delivering such a memorable evening.

🎉 Exciting Milestone Achieved: GippsSAFE Becomes a DISP Member! 🎉

We’re thrilled to announce that GippsSAFE is now a certified member of the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) — a prestigious and highly selective program run by the Australian Department of Defence.

Being accepted into DISP is no small feat. It requires strict adherence to rigorous standards across four key security domains:
• Personnel – ensuring our team is trustworthy and compliant
• Information & Cyber Security – safeguarding sensitive data
• Physical Security – protecting assets and sites
• Governance – demonstrating strong management and accountability

Through this membership, GippsSAFE maintains the highest levels of security, protecting sensitive defence information, ensuring the integrity of defence contracts, and reinforcing trust, reliability, and confidence for our clients.

Importantly, these practices extend beyond the defence sector — meaning all GippsSAFE clients benefit from working with a security partner held to the highest possible standards.

Last week, Kate and Mariana from the GippsSAFE Security team attended the Veteran Employment Program workshop, “Expanding Your Veteran Employment Commitment,” at Australian Catholic University in Melbourne.

The interactive session shared valuable insights and best practices for creating and strengthening veteran-inclusive workplaces. It was inspiring to hear directly from veterans about their transition into civilian employment and the support that made a difference along the way.

GippsSAFE Security is proud to be a member of the Veteran Employment Commitment and to be recognised as a Veteran Employer of Choice.
