The other day I parked my car to go to the supermarket to buy a few groceries. When I came back to the car there was a lady waiting for me. She asked me whether I was the owner of the car and she apologised that she had accidentally scratched my car as she was getting in the parking. She had also put a note on my windshield with her name and contact details in case I was going to be late. I was disappointed but also delighted that she was honest enough to wait for me and give me her details. It’s amazing how honest some people can be.

Today I spent my morning in the garden. I cleared the ground of weeds, dug the soil and planted my first crop of maize. It should germinate in a week’s time and be ready for consumption in three months’ time, at least.
