Specialist services require specialist insight—not simply another referral pathway.
When domestic violence services are carrying overwhelming caseloads and working under constant time pressure, practitioners can be left with that quiet question at the back of their minds: “Did I recognise what was really happening—and did I support this victim-survivor as safely and effectively as I could?”

Maggie’s Legacy was created for that moment.

More than education and awareness, Maggie’s Legacy offers a practical framework for identifying the hidden language, patterns and mechanics of coercive control. It helps frontline workers recognise the pattern, anticipate possible escalation and support tailored safety navigation with greater clarity and confidence.

It does not replace professional judgement, formal risk assessment or specialist services. It strengthens the insight practitioners bring to complex cases—helping services move beyond referral alone and toward practical, informed safety support.

Greater insight for practitioners. Greater clarity in complex cases. More informed safety planning for victim-survivors.
Maggie’s Legacy—because specialist domestic violence services require specialist insight. Please share throughout your networks.

💜 4 women. 4 different states. 18 days.

Four women who should still be here. Four families whose lives have been forever changed. Four more reminders that domestic and family violence is not a private matter — it is everyone’s business.

Behind every statistic is a mother, daughter, sister, friend, colleague, auntie or loved one. A life. A story. A future that should have continued.

We cannot become numb to these numbers.
We cannot accept violence as “just something that happens.”
We cannot stay silent.
