FLANNO Pizza night.
Wednesday 19th August.

we donate $5 from every pizza if you wear a flannelette shirt, don't care how sad it looks.. my favourite has a few wear patches- its a red one.

If you don't wear a flanno you get to chuck in the 5 bucks. If you haven't got one...SAD!... check out the op shops and give them the $5 dollars and end with a great flanno.

Farm Angels came down for our 'Time Out' Day back in June to support us and show us the face of a Farm Angel. They do a terrific job and its not all about drought. Its about seeing people on the land and being here for us. So we thought we would make next pizza night about them.

If you don't have a flannelette shirt... go get one. RB Sellers specifically do a flannelette shirt for this purpose.

Lets see how many of us are proud enough to make a checkered Flannel statement for our farmers.
$5 from every pizza goes to this cause. let see if we can put a bit in the tin and pass it on to those that help us.

Thank you everyone for making our last pizza night great. I won't apologise for things being a bit slower than normal. I also won't make excuses like... I had one girl off getting more beautiful for her upcoming wedding.... I had another girl with a water crisis on her place. Even the birthday girl had a hand in the chaos that was going on but she isn't an excuse either. Just another happy reason for a great evening.
I have to thank my family, especially Chloe. If anyone can handle chaos calmly it's her. Singlehandedly she managed her 'apprentices' and her children around cooking up a storm. Roping in her husband who prefers to be absent from crowds was a feat and hoping my other family members to man the bar and manhandle the pizza dough will come back to relax rather than work might take some coaxing.
Having thirty odd cars parked out front and knowing they were all there to eat at our place was a real honour. Thank you for supporting us.
All being well will see you on the 19th August so we can do it again.

Had a few things on lately,

Last week I hosted a few of the Bonshaw Energy Park (solar farm) people as they work through their processes.
Us farmers have to get through this drought so we can move on to the next hurdle.
Those blokes have to tick a whole heap of bureaucratic boxes, cultural, heritage, environment,water, vegetation, govt both local & beyond. Seems like they are like us.
Maybe next year!
In the meantime let's get together for another pizza night

Been quite a bit happening, bit dry, bit of rain, social events all round and to finish off this week a bit of Origin.(I have a foot in both camps so will just stay quiet and fly under the radar of the die hards). then some Pizza.

After a busy Biggest Morning Tea yesterday. Thank you to those that came. It was a lovely way to spend time with friends and raise our contribution for Cancer Council.
Looking at the grass greening up sure is relaxing. Its not drought breaking grass but its going to be better than the dirt lawn we had only a few days ago.
Next stop is the Time Out day coming up Sunday. Its shaping up to be terrific. Remember to let us know if you are coming because we can't just duck into town for supplies when the food runs out.
