This terrific group of people gathered at Fosterton Retreat over the weekend to learn to cut pieces of glass and turn them into art. None of them had ever cut glass before and look what they created. It was such a fun weekend and so much more than learning to create stained-glass creations.

To experience this, join us next year at a Stained-Glass Art Retreat. Next one is scheduled for 25-27 June 2027. We are already taking bookings and 4 places have been taken. So don't miss out, get in touch now.

The large window is officially underway!

The first section is beginning to bloom, and little by little the rest of the window will follow. Every carefully cut piece of glass brings the design one step closer to life.

Now I need your help...

This piece features kookaburras, crimson rosellas, a tortoise in a pond, a waratah, flannel flowers, ferns and mushrooms, all nestled amongst the Australian bush.

What would you call it? I'd love to hear your suggestions. The perfect name might just come from one of you!

Can you really create several stained glass pieces in just one weekend?

Absolutely!

Time and time again we're amazed by what our retreat participants achieve. With expert guidance, plenty of encouragement and a relaxed, supportive atmosphere, you'll head home with beautiful handmade pieces and a whole new set of skills.

Our next Stained Glass Art Retreat is happening 14–16 August 2026, and there are still a few spots available.

Spend a weekend surrounded by nature, immerse yourself in creativity, meet like-minded people, and discover just how rewarding working with stained glass can be. The photos speak for themselves—but the experience is even better.
