Three feral cats removed south of Wiluna, WA. These animals were euthanised humanely as part of a targeted response to protect vulnerable native wildlife — feral and roaming cats are a major threat in Australia and put direct pressure on over 120 native species at risk of extinction.
We don’t take this lightly. Decisions like this are made to reduce predation on small mammals, reptiles and ground‑nesting birds and to protect fragile local ecosystems. If you care about native wildlife, please:
*Keep pet cats contained or microchipped and desexed
*Report feral cat sightings to your local shire or DBCA/RSPCA
*Support local feral animal management and habitat restoration programs.
If you have a feral animal problem, including cats, foxes, rabbits, etc. please feel free to reach out.
