Alpine Nurseries

Alpine Nurseries A one stop shop for quality plants in all types and sizes supplying landscape professionals for over 40 years (trade only).

Alpine is focused exclusively on trade customers, including landscape contractors and designers, local Councils, property developers, garden centres and Government agencies. The business is capable of providing plant material for any project from huge infrastructure projects, down to a small backyard renovation. Alpine grows very large trees in 1,000 Litre containers, all the way down to tubestock

for roadside plantings. It also has an extensive, Australia-wide network of growers that can supply varieties not grown by Alpine or where Alpine stock is not available. The Sales Division is a group of about 10 staff that actively source Alpine and other stock for customer orders. In addition the Alpine Trademart is a wholesale trade market providing a cash and carry alternative to plant procurement. There are about 100 staff employed at Alpine and key Alpine values are quality in stock production and in all business processes, teamwork and energy. These values underpin all facets of Alpine’s business.

For landscape professionals, plant supply isn’t just a logistics problem – it’s a project risk. Wrong species, late delivery, inconsistent quality, or a supplier who can’t scale with your requirements: any one of these can derail a job.

The Alpine Trademart exists to take that risk off the table. Read more in our blog. https://www.alpinenurseries.com.au/the-alpine-trademart-built-for-trade-stocked-for-every-season/

The Trademart isn’t a retail nursery with a trade discount. It’s a dedicated, curated trade space stocked with the depth and variety that professional projects demand - from advanced trees and feature specimens through to mass planting lines and specialty varieties.

The Sundays is a boutique hotel within the natural beauty of Hamilton Island, designed for those looking for a relaxed, connected island experience.

When Green by Nature was tasked with bringing parts of this distinctive precinct to life, they turned to Alpine Nurseries to supply the diverse and tropical plant palette the project demanded. Delivering to a remote island destination requires more than quality stock - it requires meticulous planning, reliable availability and a supplier with the capability to meet exacting specifications on time.

Alpine's experience in supplying complex commercial landscape projects ensured Green By Nature had access to premium greenlife that matched the design intent and could thrive in the unique coastal tropical environment.

The result is a landscape that celebrates the natural beauty of its setting, with lush tropical plantings that complement the architecture and reinforce the sense of place that makes The Sundays so special.

Our communities are worth supporting!

That's why we're proud to sponsor: Giant Steps, a school and therapy centre for children and adults with autism; Penrith Mini Bike Club, nurturing the next generation of young riders; and Ballina Sharks Baseball Club, keeping the spirit of the game alive in regional NSW. We wish each of them every success!

We are proud to recognise and extend a very special congratulations to: Sharon Overton reaching 10 years service; Doug Blythe, Daniel Heiden, and Iwan Gandasugita - each celebrating an incredible 20 years with Alpine.

These milestones speak volumes about the people who make Alpine what it is - a team that cares about the plants they grow, the customers they serve, and the culture they help build every single day. We are grateful to have each of you a part of Alpine Nurseries.

Congratulations Sharon, Doug, Daniel and Iwan - your dedication inspires us all!

This Mother's Day, we're reminded of why we do what we do: creating happiness through greenlife. From a single bloom to a landscape that endures for generations, plants have a quiet way of saying what words sometimes can't.

To every mother in our industry, in our team, and in the lives of those we work alongside - we're grateful for everything you do. Happy Mother's Day. 🪴🌻🍃

Today we pause to acknowledge and honour the service, sacrifice and legacy of the Australian and New Zealand armed forces.

We recognise the importance of this day, including across our industry and communities. Many of the landscapes we help bring to life - public spaces, memorial gardens and civic environments, serve as places of reflection, remembrance and connection.

We pay our respects to all who have served, and to those who continue to serve. Lest we forget.
