Hump day's been,
hump day's gone,

So far, the week has included a new suburban build scrape, level and spread at a beautiful new home, creating a level playing field from a lumpy mess, and spreading new topsoil soil, drilling holes for a new auditory barrier at Lactilis for the crew at Bluestone Projects, a job needing hard hats, high vuz and all the paperwork civil construction needs, and a site clearance, involving old trees, bee hive and stump grinders. Oh, let's not forget the sheep burial.

Date palms are pretty cool trees. But not when planted up against your house! Or sandwiched in between your house and another large tree. Yesterday we helped the boys at Bendigo Property Care with their project to remove these trees, open up the space, and at the same time, cut back an area ready for a retaining wall. Things were complicated by a low access point, and large bluestone rocks embedded at the feet of the palm tree. Complications? Our specialty! If you need it done, get it done with Diggermate. Yesterday we had the privilege of helping someone who had lost their pet miniature bull. With the weather turning cold and wet, older animals in poor health are going to struggle, so if we can help please don't hesitate to contact us.
Interestingly, notwithstanding over 40mm of rain in the area in recent times, meaning a soft surface and pooling water, dry soil was not too far below the surface.
