She's coming together fast now, I've been slack, so catching up a bit on the photo's from the factory visit and a couple Adam sent through, Yes 425 horses Mercury Marine Australia are now bolted onto the stern from Rod and Australian Marine Centre and Running, No water test yet!!! it was decided to get the trim tabs and electronics sorted,. and there is alot to sort!!! Just ask Matt from MK CUSTOM MARINE He's been great and putting together one hell of a package, 600 amp lithium bank, house bank and motor battery for starters, with Kenny from Southern Cross Marine supplying the latest Simrad package and more!!!!. But more on that to come. She's getting dropped off tomorrow by Adam from Bonito Boats Australia for the fitout!!! Some serious walkthrough videos to come, so make sure you subscribe to our Bonito boats youtube channel. Quick Gyro X3, is bolted in, Mark from Gineico Marine has been awesome, great support!!! Adam is still complaining about the job!!! 135kg's in a tight space would not be fun, Big thanks and to Jake as well. Frame and hardtop done, off to powercoating, Black was the choice and should come up great and solid as F___!!!! Seriously next level and well worth it!!!
We've beefed up with solid cleats, instead of folding ones, which are normally fine, but went with heavy duty ones for mooring alongside when doing mothershipping trips out at the reef. They cop a hard life.

Great to get to the Factory again, been a while, and check on the Bonito Boats Australia 660XT progress!!! the team has been doing a phenomenal job and was very impressed, especially when it's your dream build project!!! A Few introductory pics, good to see the factory flat out, plenty of orders and building great boats!!! Make sure you talk to Adam and get in the queue!!! The boys are busy, the 580CC is selling like hotcakes.
Here's a the 560, next to the 620, and the 660XT all lined up. We all know size matters and especially in boats!!!! They're all great boats and depends on what you want to do!!! I've been in them all, and feel free to give me a call to discuss your dream boat.
I've had countless boats starting from a Bondwood dingy as a kid, Aluminium, Poly, fibreglass and to owning several charter boats up to Reefari Fishing Charters "MV Kalira", a Maritimo M500 gameboat, Been alot of fun and amazing trips along the way!!! All the best and Can't wait to get my 660XT out on the water, She's going to be amazing!!!! getting close now and more to come!!! Electronic package like no other!!!! Cheers Greg 0413 821 736

New Walkthrough video out now on our Youtube channel for the 660Express, Awesome and even more impressive in the flesh, we got 47knots light in the watertest on Noosa river with Mercury Marine Australia 300HP Pro XS, Great combo and going for a full electronics package being fitted out by Gregs Wicked Fishing!!! Awesome Quick MC2 X3DC Gyro!!! WOW, WOW, WOW!!! the toys keep on coming!!! This will be amazing? Really looking forward to this. Alot so far has gone into the engineering and strengthening of the hull, 16mm Aluminium plate, laminated and bolted into the hull, overengineered and one of the toughest builds we've done so far, 660XT !!! Unreel!!!
Does the Bonito Boats Australia 660CC XT need a Gyro? No, they are actually a very good stable boat and we've never had a problem for a deep V, 25 degrees hull, Rides unreel and is an awesome hull and dependable predictable seaboat. Great size and that's why I've gone back to the 660, but let's see what this hull can do, More on Horsepower later?> I've told the missus it's all about product development and a Gyro will just make a good day great, easier fishing, cruising, anchoring, etc. We will keep you updated, the good, the bad, the ugly!!!!!
Feel free to message me for the full Specs data sheet on the X3 Gyro, but a great package, Air cooled, light weight at 130kgs, 12V, 42cm X 42cm X48cm. I did alot of research talking to Gyro owners, Reliability, the Air cooling was better for us than running water cooling, so no pumps, SW to worry about. Quick gyro's run in Air, not a vacuum like some brands and not as high RPM's, and seem to be more reliable over time? Minimal service requirements and great reliability over the years had me sold from other owners experience had me sold. Should be a simple install as well, let's see?
We've gone for a seatbox install, so will be watertight and some simple air ventilation. We do lose some storage unfortunately, which I was looking at using for a fridge, but oh well, Will work something out? The Gyro is positioned centrally in the boat aft, and deck level. I've seen too many mounted underfloor and don't like that idea, Very hard to keep water out? and sealed, Salt spray will corrode Steel, very quickly, yet alone if you flood your storage space which will inevitably happen one day!!! electronics? On deck in a watertight storage space for me!!!! with easy access. At least we should be able to keep the water out!!!
Mark from Gineico Marine has been awesome and she's all coming together, The electrical side with 400? 600 Amp hours of Lithium batteries being finalised and install by Bonito Boats Australiaan and MK CUSTOM MARINE
