25eight We help you build the human, business, and digital capability to thrive in the AI economy. Benefiting themselves and the community around them.

25eight, a B Corp certified business, is on a mission to build the capability of 20 million small to medium sized businesses by 2030. Small to medium-sized businesses (SMEs) are the backbone of local communities; providing opportunities for meaningful work, fostering local economies and account for 60-70% of jobs in most OECD countries. SME's account for 99.8% of Australian businesses and contribu

te significantly to Australia's economy. However, small to medium businesses have a much lower success rate than larger businesses and face greater hardships in extreme market conditions. SME's are less likely to have digital strategies or have adopted digital transformations and lack the time, resources, confidence and knowledge to do so. Support is needed to help SMEs create a sustainable future and adapt to online and digital marketing channels.

25eight provides personalised transformational learning programs that are designed to fit into busy schedules and incrementally build capability and confidence across a business maturity learning journey. In adopting innovative practices, businesses are able to increase revenue, time, job opportunities and the longevity of their business whilst developing future of work skills that will help them now and into the future. We work directly with business, in partnership with government agencies and organisations to deliver to their business community or directly to skillseekers wanting to increase their employment opportunities in the SME sector. We also power Regional Growth Project to help regional and rural businesses drive innovation and increase competitiveness

85% of leadership training fails to produce lasting behaviour change.

Most people may assume it's about willpower, or the quality of the program.

The researchers found something different. When people learn in isolation from the context where they need to apply what they know, transfer fails almost universally. It's not a motivation problem. It's a conditions problem.

Four conditions change this. When all four are present, the research shows measurable shifts within 8 to 12 weeks.

25eight delivers evidence-based capability building programs that bridge the gap between traditional education and real world application to help you get results in a short space of time.

Some of the most important work in a business is often described as “soft”.

Strategic direction.
Cultural tone.
Trust.
Decision-making clarity.
AI strategy.

But these things aren’t soft.

They are the operating conditions that shape how the business actually works.

The real question is not just whether you have a plan or a document.

It’s whether the lived reality of the business supports clear decisions, ownership and action.

And if something as important as AI strategy has quietly slipped to someone without the mandate to reshape the business, it may be time to bring it back to the business owner level.

Because AI strategy is not just about tools.

It’s about the future design of the business.

10/06/2026

AI strategy isn’t just about choosing the right tool.

It’s about deciding how your business will work.

AI changes workflows, roles, decisions and the capabilities your business needs to build.

That means the business owner can’t fully hand AI strategy over to someone else.

You can absolutely get help with implementation.

But the deeper questions need to be owned by the leader:

How should AI change the way we work?
What should humans still do?
Which decisions should be supported by AI?
What capabilities do we need for the future?

Because AI adoption without clear business ownership can lead to lots of tools being used, without a clearer, stronger business underneath.

What you can't outsource.

You've hired well. Written the SOPs. Moved tasks off your plate. There's still a layer underneath delegation that only you can hold.

Four things specifically. Including the one AI makes urgent right now. Swipe to see them all.

Take the Small Business Capability Gap Diagnostic for a read on where your capability sits across all four layers. Link in bio.

AI can help a business move faster.

But faster output doesn’t always mean clearer strategy.

A team might be experimenting with AI, automating tasks and creating more content or documents than ever before.

But if the business owner hasn’t clarified what matters, what decisions need to be made and how AI supports the direction of the business, the extra output can actually create more confusion.

AI is useful.

But it doesn’t remove the need for leadership.

The real opportunity is not just to use AI more.

It’s to use AI in a way that makes the business clearer, stronger and more capable.

05/06/2026

You can get help with strategy.

You can bring someone in to run the workshop, do the research, facilitate the conversation and document the plan.

But the clarity itself?

That still needs to be held by the business leader.

Because when strategy is ambiguous, smart people will often fill in the gaps themselves.

And in many cases, they’ll default to the safest choice, not necessarily the clearest or most strategic one.

That’s why strategy isn’t just about having a plan.

It’s about creating enough clarity that people can make aligned decisions when you’re not in the room.

At some point, every successful business owner faces the same challenge.

You’ve stabilised sales.
You’ve built a team.
You’ve written the processes.
You’ve handed over the tasks.

But somehow, the business still keeps pulling you back in.

That’s usually not because your team doesn’t care.

It’s because delegation needs more than instructions.

It needs clarity, trust, decision-making authority and the right operating rhythm.

Delegation isn’t just about moving tasks off your plate.

It’s about building the conditions that allow other people to take ownership.

For a long time, speed gave businesses an edge.

Being first to digital, first to e-commerce, first to social, or first to move often mattered.

But AI tools are now becoming cheaper, more accessible, and more widely available.

So the advantage is changing.

It is less about who has the tool first, and more about who has the capability to use it well.

The Capability Era rewards depth, not just haste.

We help you build the capabilities you need to succeed.
