Geoff Seow Helping Entrepreneurs Build Profitable Businesses & Unforgettable Personal Brands | Best-Selling Author of “Do It Every Damn Day” The goal is simple.

In August 2020, burnout became my turning point. I realised the life I was living no longer matched the impact I wanted to create. I wanted freedom, purpose, and the ability to build something meaningful. That decision led me into coaching, where I saw how clarity, direction, and intentional strategy could transform someone’s trajectory. By June 2021, I left my career in Clinical Research and relo

cated to Melbourne to pursue coaching full time. MindAxis Life Coaching was born from that leap of faith, and over time it evolved from a life coaching practice into a global business helping people redesign their careers, businesses, and identities. After working with clients across four continents, I realised that my deepest passion was helping entrepreneurs build businesses and brands that truly stand out. Not just businesses that make money but businesses that people remember. Brands that build trust, authority, and long term demand. Today, I specialise in helping entrepreneurs strengthen the two pillars that create lasting success: a profitable business model and an unforgettable personal brand. My approach blends business analysis, offer development, brand positioning, and marketing strategies tailored to your goals. I look at what makes your business unique, identify the strategic gaps holding you back, and help you implement the systems, messaging, and brand presence that elevate you above your competition. To help you build a business people want to buy from and a brand they never forget.

One of the biggest lies entrepreneurs tell themselves is: “I’ll focus on my health once the business is successful.”

The problem is that success becomes a moving target.

There’s always another client to sign. Another goal to hit. Another milestone to chase.

Meanwhile, your energy declines, your stress increases and your mental health suffers.

This year, I’ve made a commitment to train at least four times per week regardless of how busy life gets.

Not because I want a six-pack.

Because I know that my business performs better when I perform better.

Your health isn’t competing with your business. It’s supporting it.

Too many people sacrifice their health to build wealth, only to spend their wealth trying to rebuild their health later.

Remember, you’re not just building a business.

You’re building the person responsible for running it.

When I first had the idea of starting an online business, I sat on it for nearly 2 years.

Not because I was lazy. Not because I lacked ambition.

But I just genuinely had no idea what direction made sense for me.

One week I wanted to start a dropshipping business.

Then an agency. Then content creation. Then digital products.

And every time I started leaning toward one direction…I would immediately start questioning it.

“What if it’s too saturated?”
“What if nobody pays for this?”
“What actually makes me different?”

So instead of building, I stayed stuck in research mode.

Consuming more content, watching more videos and endlessly waiting to feel “certain.”

Eventually I realised something:

A lot of aspiring entrepreneurs don’t struggle because they lack work ethic.

They struggle because they lack clarity and without clarity, it becomes very hard to commit.

That’s a huge reason why I created the From Idea to Income Playbook.

It’s a practical and completely free resource designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs:

→ Identify profitable problems
→ Choose a niche worth building in
→ Position themselves so they stop blending in online

Because once your direction becomes clearer, taking action becomes a whole lot easier.

The biggest mistake first-time entrepreneurs make is underpricing themselves.

Because they’re still so new to their business, they think they should be the cheapest option.

And this often leads to them being overlooked by potential clients.

See, there’s a psychology to pricing that everyone has fallen for at some point.

Let’s say you want to buy a new jacket.

You go to the store and look at some options.

One jacket is $40. Another is $120.

Even if they look similar, most people instinctively assume the $120 jacket is better.

Better material. Better fit. Better quality.

Pricing has the power to influence perception and the same thing happens in business.

When first-time entrepreneurs price themselves too low, they think they’re making it easier for people to say yes.

But what they’re actually doing is signalling uncertainty.

Clients start wondering:

“Why is this so cheap?”
“Is this really going to work?”
“Are they experienced enough?”

Low prices don’t attract trust, instead they attract hesitation.

Strong pricing communicates clarity, confidence, and capability.

You don’t need to be the most expensive option in the room, but you should never be the safest option to ignore.

If you’re serious about building a real business, your pricing needs to reflect the transformation you help your clients achieve.

Because if you’re truly the real deal, then that’s priceless.

You may not know this, but I refuse to use AI to write my content.

I’m sure it could do a better job than me.

But I actually enjoy the practice of writing far too much to give it up.

Everyone’s talking about using Claude or ChatGPT.

Sure, I could easily do that and it’d make my life a lot easier.

But at what cost?

I’d slowly lose the skill of writing that I’ve worked years to build up.

And more than that, I’d feel disconnected from my content, which would make all of this pointless.

The aim of the game for me has never just been views or engagement.

Yes, they’ve certainly helped me grow my business and brand immensely.

But for me, I’ve just been creating content for the love of the game.

I actually enjoy creating in a manner that’s unique to my thought process and experiences.

And it’s something I know that no one can ever take from me.

AI might be able to copy your work, but it can never replicate your originality.

When you’ve mastered a skill you can just change your process again and again.

There’s infinite ways to change the voice, tone and topic of your content.

That’s why I recommend that if you’re creating content you should take the effort to build your content systems from scratch.

Use AI to help you ideate and grammatically refine.

But under no circumstances should you let it replace your talents.

I once got my nose smashed in, all because I was arrogant.

This was back in 2024, when I trained Muay Thai in Thailand for a month.

You see, I thought I’d be a bit cheeky on my first day.

I already had a good amount of experience in kickboxing before I even went to Thailand.

But I acted like I knew nothing because I thought it’d be funny to surprise the trainers.

They put me through the warm-ups, the basic drills and everything a beginner would learn.

For context, when you train Muay Thai in Thailand, the sessions usually last 90 minutes.

60 minutes of cardio, drills and padwork and then you usually spar for 30 minutes straight.

Naturally, the trainer sparred me first, as I’d told him I was a beginner.

Initially, he took it easy on me and demonstrated some simple maneuvers.

But that’s where my arrogance took over. I completely forgot to pretend to be a beginner.

I started letting loose with some combos, and I began to get into the flow.

Next thing I knew, my trainer started shaping up a bit differently.

He’d quickly realized that I was pulling a fast one on the class.

A few trades later, and he’d smashed my nose in, and blood exploded everywhere on the mats.

And in that moment I learnt something I still carry into business today.

Your ego will always slow your growth faster than your honesty ever will.

Pretending you’re further ahead than you are doesn’t make you impressive, it makes you uncoachable.

Since then I try to walk into new rooms with curiosity instead of performance, because I’d rather grow quickly than get another bloody nose.

Either metaphorically, or in my case, literally. 😂

This way you’ll always come up ahead, because your ego won’t get in your way.

Some of the smartest people I’ve met are afraid to post content.

They have an encyclopedia in their head, but they also have a crippling fear of being perceived.

It’s honestly such a cruel irony.

I’ve questioned these types of people and one of their biggest fears is being judged.

Therefore, when they try to create content, they feel the need for it to be perfect.

They want the best equipment, the perfect background, the softest lighting.

There’s a million steps to take before they can even hit the post button.

Which is crazy when all you need to post static content is a laptop.

And if you want to post video content, you just need a phone and a few apps.

Their addiction to detail is what also keeps them completely stuck in the mud.

Because aiming for perfection in this game is literally impossible.

There’s no way to create perfect content, because everyone will view it differently.

Some people will hate it, whilst others will love it.

Ultimately, there’s no way to find out until we put content out there for our audience to consume.

If you’re struggling with this stumbling block, I can reassure you right now that you have nothing to fear.

Because if you decide to post imperfect content, you’ll probably improve and start getting results.

But if you decide to wait to post until your content is perfect, you’ll probably learn nothing.

The only way to learn is by putting skin in the game.

And that’s from accepting imperfection for the sake of progression.

Some of the most painful moments in business and life aren’t when things fall apart.

They’re when you realise you’ve outgrown the path you’re on.

I know that feeling well.

The work feels heavier. The passion feels flatter.

And deep down, you know you’re meant for more than the version of you who started this journey.

Pivoting isn’t a sign of failure, it’s a sign of evolution.

Your career, your business, your identity are allowed to shift as you grow.

And when you finally choose alignment over expectation, everything starts to open up again.

If you feel the nudge to change direction, trust it.

Your future self is trying to pull you forward.

If you had ten seconds to introduce yourself to the right person, would you nail it…or panic?

Most people don’t struggle with what they do.

They struggle with explaining it clearly and confidently when the moment counts.

And that’s the real problem. Because opportunities rarely show up with a calendar invite.

They show up in passing moments.

→ A lift ride
→ A networking event
→ A quick introduction to someone who could change your entire direction

If you can’t communicate your value fast, you blend in.

You get overlooked. You miss the moment.

But when you can express who you help, what you do, and why it matters in under 60 seconds you become someone people remember.

→ Clarity creates confidence
→ Confidence creates connection
→ Connection creates clients

Master your elevator pitch and you’ll change the way people see you…and the way you show up in your life and business.

Most people don’t lose creativity.

They train their brain to consume instead of create.

When you start your day scrolling, replying, and absorbing other people’s ideas, your mind goes into reaction mode.

Over time, original thinking gets quieter and ideas feel harder to access.

Creativity needs space. Silence. Boredom.

Try this simple shift: create something small before you consume anything at all.

That one habit can completely change how your brain thinks and creates.

Never take it personally.

No matter what happens.

Because the moment you react negatively to any event.

You’ve already lost.

The only thing that you can control in this life is your thoughts, words and actions.

Everything else is out of your hands.

Meaning, that if you can’t control your reaction to difficult circumstances.

Then you’ve lost the only thing that you have power over.

Which means that the situation has gained the upper hand.

Now, you’re a slave to your emotions and it’ll eat away at you.

There’s a simple antidote.

Don’t react negatively, ever.

Learn to let it go.

You couldn’t control it anyways, so why let it bother you?

It’s only going to distract you from what you can control in your life.

Instead, choose to focus your energy on something better.

The greatest superpower in the world.

Is learning to put a smile on your face, even when the chips are down.

That’s true character.

Because now you're the master of your fate.
