Some of you may have heard that Estimating Solutions Group, MDC Global, and FDG Group were about to undergo a major transformation... Well, we are ecstatic to announce that today we have officially rebranded under the one company, now known as Decobu!

At Decobu we Design, we Cost, you Build. Decobu was founded to improve the continuity of two main factors of every project: cost and design. Our purpose is to bring these two components together to improve the construction industry by developing accurately detailed cost plans and cost-effective performance designs.

Chris has joined the team as our new Trainee Electrical Estimator. During his 20+ years in the electrical industry, he has accumulated a wide range of skills in various sectors. Chris has aided in medical, commercial, mining and government projects, from inception to completion.

Multiple congratulations are in order 👏

At our end of year company update, held at our Christmas lunch late last year, the employee of the month for December and employee of the year for 2021 awards were announced!

Congratulations to Kezia Rowe, People and Culture Manager for Estimating Solutions Group, MDC Global and FDG Group for winning the employee of the month for December! Kezia received this award for providing clear company updates, organising our great company events, and always going above and beyond for the team.

A second congratulation goes to Daniel Allison, Electrical Engineer at MDC Global, for taking out the award for employee of the year. Daniel won employee of the month twice throughout 2021 and was voted employee of the year by the team.

Hello 2022 👋

HBF Park is one of the ten venues selected to host matches as part of the FIFA Women’s World Cup (WWC) tournament in 2023.

Our team provided an electrical estimate to upgrade the existing lighting that is compliant with the FIFA Lighting Guidelines.

Last Thursday, Michiel Pentz, Daniela Melo, and Shelby Pignat from our team completed the 'Working with Aboriginal People Training Course' at the Wirra Hub. This course was critical in understanding the protocols and importance of cultural awareness when working with Aboriginal businesses.

As a result, Estimating Solutions Group is proud to announce that we are service providers for Wirra Hub, providing specialized business support for contractors requiring guidance and assistance regarding estimating and tender submissions.

As part of the Wirrapanda Foundation, Wirra Hub's purpose is to assist the Indigenous business sector in WA to thrive. Business coaches, mentors and office facilities at Wirrahub support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who want to start, grow or sustain their businesses.
