Spring has arrived and our friends at the Bureau of Meteorology have forecast warmer than usual temperatures throughout most of the State!

This might mean the window for planned burning could close earlier this year – with warmer conditions bushfires could escalate quickly 🔥

If you're thinking about planned burning to help reduce potential for major damage, here's what you need to keep in mind:

📞 Firstly, register your burn with our Communications Centre by calling 08 9395 9209.

🌞 Don't forget to check the weather conditions before lighting your burn.

🔥 Remember, your burn is your responsibility! Never leave it unattended and make sure it is fully extinguished. Call 000 if it gets out of hand.
