On a road trip between Edinburgh and London and stopped in the lovely little town of Alnwick. Found a wonderful vintage shop of curated collectors at The Beehive. So many beautiful and unique things.
We would love to see more of this join The Vintage Collective and Factory 10A at Darling Works Echuca.

Wonderful opportunity to visit the MCDC - Manchester Craft & Design Centre and speak to the local makers with studios in this amazing space.

It’s been running for over 40 years in the heart of the once seedy, now trendy Northern Quarter of Manchester.

An inspirational story of regeneration of an old building into a space with 20 studios housing independent designers and makers producing and selling textiles, jewellery, ceramics, glass, prints and homewares.

Darling Works has the beginnings of a place like this - how redundant old buildings can be reused for something fresh and given a new purpose.

Come on down for a bit of independent retail therapy.

We’re so excited to share the progress at The Common at Darling Works Echuca.

The space is really starting to come together, and we can’t wait for them to open the doors and show everyone what they’ve created.

With Peggy Coffee already drawing a loyal crowd, and the Mini Maker Market proving what an incredible community is growing in this space, there’s plenty to look forward to.

We have a feeling it’s going to become a special part of Darling Works. 😄💫

Every place has a black sheep. This might be ours.

Unlike anything else at Darling Works, this quietly cool space has been waiting for the right idea.

Once the women’s change rooms in the old factory, it still has all the character you would hope for: red brick walls, skylights, industrial bones and a history you can feel.

There’s already a sink, with new shared accessible bathrooms and amenities currently being built right next door.

It could become a serious studio, workshop, makers’ space, an office with a strong industrial edge, or something completely unexpected that we haven’t imagined yet.

Spaces like this rarely come up at Darling Works. If you have been waiting for the right place to start something, this might be it.

What a fantastic article by Riverine Herald about last Saturday’s Mini Maker Market.

A huge congratulations to PEGGY COFFEE for creating such a wonderful event, and to all of the mini makers who took part. Your creativity, talent and enthusiasm made it a really special day.

We loved seeing Darling Works Echuca filled with so much youthful energy & inspiration. Our community has so many new ideas, so watch this space.

It’s always worth a visit to Factory 10A. No matter what you collect, it’s probably in there.  Just ask Mal and Cookie to fish it out for you or they’ll track down in their travels.

Fog rolled into Echuca today… and yes, it was freezing.

Our drone plans quickly changed, so instead we headed to C & D Tiles Echuca and found a mix-and-match collection of leftover pavers that are perfect for Darling Works Echuca. Some are marble, some travertine & some granite, an eclectic mix of great authentic things just like Darling Works.

We’re building a path that leads to a gate we’re bringing back into use, reconnecting Darling Works with the local community for the first time in what we think has been many years.

At least the soft soil will make digging a little easier. ❄️🚜
