21 years old! The 2004 Pobblebonk Cab Sav-Shiraz has held its own. The bold fruit forward notes had softened and matured (haven’t we all honey!) It still has a bright and green twist; with a mid length finish. Personally I think it is better now than the younger version. The winemaker says it is like a lovely walk in the park on a bright autumn day. 🍁
Thankyou to my brother for bringing this one back for us to enjoy. We enjoyed with lamb and gnocchi mixed with homegrown rocket homemade pesto.
