Trusted Home Care welcomes the announcements made today regarding advancements for our Aged Care clients, with the removal of co-contributions for personal care, along with the NDIS reforms to come.
As a Registered NDIS provider, 1 in 16 providers are registered, we have long paid an exorbitant cost for the earned right, whilst watching unregistered 'providers' and independent support workers benefit from a lack of accountability and overheads.
We employ over 70 people, providing local jobs and caring for local people. We contribute to the community and the economy in every single way and have had to sacrifice way too much during the past 5 years just to stay viable.
It is time for the correction needed to support better care and for Registered Providers to be the main-stay of the industry and not the unnacountable.
