The position is primarily an administration support role, with some light bookkeeping tasks rather than a dedicated bookkeeping position. You’d be working within a small, friendly team and helping keep the day-to-day operations running smoothly.
The role is approximately 12 hours per week, Ideally, one day would be Friday, some flexibility is also needed as there may be a requirement to cover staff leave occasionally.
The main focus of the role would include:
• General admin and data entry
• Entering supplier invoices into our accounting system
• Answering phone calls and responding to emails
• Liaising with suppliers and couriers regarding orders and deliveries
• Communicating with warehouse staff
• Assisting with stock ordering and keeping stock records up to date
There would also be some general office support tasks from time to time, such as filing, document management, and helping out with ad-hoc admin as needed.
Overall, it’s a varied role that suits someone who enjoys a mix of admin, coordination, and basic accounts work, rather than a role focused solely on bookkeeping

Join our team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, where you will play a vital role in managing customer billing and ensuring timely payment collection. You will be responsible for generating accurate invoices, applying payments, resolving client discrepancies, and maintaining meticulous financial records. The ideal candidate possesses strong Excel skills, a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, exceptional communication, and a proactive approach to financial management."


Key Responsibilities
* Invoice and Billing: Creating, sending, and processing invoices for goods or services provided to customers.
* Payment Processing: Receiving and recording customer payments from various methods.
* Collections: Following up on late payments, contacting clients to resolve overdue accounts, and potentially negotiating payment arrangements.
* Account Reconciliation: Reconciling customer accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any payment discrepancies.
* Financial Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and detailed financial records related to accounts receivable.
* Reporting: Generating reports for management on accounts receivable status, cash flow, and outstanding balances.
* Customer Service: Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Pronto), Microsoft Excel, and data entry.
* Analytical Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy, and the ability to resolve discrepancies.
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for interacting with clients and internal departments.
* Organizational Skills: Effective time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple accounts and deadlines.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to research and resolve payment issues and disputes.

Vacant Position – (Sub-Contracted) Customer Service Officer, Managed Cupboards
The Role.
Attend customer sites, predominantly in Parramatta, and refill customers stationery cupboards with stock. Record stock supplied and report on any discrepancies or other issues as they may arise. Stock will be collected from either Tuggerah or a Sydney based (Bankstown) warehouse and supplied/restocked into cupboards.
The Person
Must have experience in a courier and customer service environment. Be neat and well presented with good communication skills and be proficient in basic Microsoft applications. A level of physical fitness will be required as the role will entail transferring stock from the carpark of a multi storey building to each level (up to around 15 levels in each day).
Additional Information
• May suit a suitable fit and experience semi-retired or return to work person
• The initial role will be for 1-3 days per week with a view to full time
• Should have a current ABN or be willing to get one
• A clean driving record is a must.
• All insurance must be up to date
• Access to or own a suitable van/vehicle, (to give an idea of required vehicle, we currently we use a standard Toyota Hi-Ace)
