A fantastic post from Metis Nation of Alberta! These photos come directly from their information management system and were collected through their Askíy Fish Health Community Monitor Program forms, which ESS set up for them. These forms allow citizens to share details of fish catch with MNA to track changes in fish health and populations and better inform fish conservation initiatives.
Look at these beautiful faces! And we're not just talking about the fish ;)
A big thank you to all our Citizens who shared photos of their fishing activities with us.
These Citizens submitted their photos when they filled out the Askíy Fish Health Community Monitor Program forms. This program helps track changes in fish health and populations across Alberta. Information collected helps the MNA protect fish and their habitats in your communities.
If you are out fishing, please take a moment to fill out the forms using the link below and include any photos of your trip. We would love to hear about and see your adventures!
