I still get this weird feeling when i write about this. I almost always go back and delete it. Is it shame? I guess so, i lost allot of who i thought i was, the things i stood for, also i guess i just dont want anyone to see me in a different way, after all i had it all together, howd i let it happen.......
But I didn't know i needed this, I didn't know I needed to be in a mental health recovery home, and I definitely didn't know I needed to loose all sense of who I am to then find out I am EVERYTHING this world bought me here to be.
I have no shame in having a mental illness. It's not my story it's just a time I had in my human experience
in 3 months, I'll celebrate my 1 year recovery through the scariest, most beautifully transformational time of my life. Nothing scares me anymore, I'm stronger, more resilient, more open to life than I've ever been before.
I LOVE SO FIERCELY. IT BLOWS MY MIND.
I've stopped healing and started living, i now understand that suffering is my human right and that challenges are what brings us home to ourselves.
I can't wait to share my journey with you all, there's chapters, and there are scripts to always be re written ♡ and this is mine.
Movement kept me alive, the nights I Lay wide awake terrified to sleep I still practised religiously, when people told me I needed to be still, I knew if I stopped I wouldn't get back up again. Movement was kind, pilates and yoga, grounding, stretching cleaning, anything that gave me a purpose.
Let me bring Movement into your life. You never know when it might save you
