What a way to kickstart the year with ! Our intention for the main stage was to bring the essence of the mansion to the Velodrome. The silhouette of the original renaissance building was presented in skeletal form with semi reflective cladding to give it an ethereal quality. Two other stages were designed to offer unique & immersive experiences.

We are extremely grateful for all the promoters, suppliers, performers & crew who work tirelessly to deliver these events.. and of course the crowd who make it all possible & bring the vibe! đŸ«¶đŸŒ

Big thanks to , , , , .size.p, et al.

OPEN TABLE for at our dear friends . We are exhibiting alongside some wonderful designers and artists.

“The ritual of sitting down to a family meal has been an indispensable part of daily life for generations but the realities of modern living has resulted in a depletion of this primary meaningful ritual that protects the spiritual, social, emotional and physical integrity of our families and communities.

“4000 Weeks” explores themes associated with this shift and the challenge in how we find a balance between incorporating
technology whilst maintaining this important ritual to ensure meaningful connections and
engagement during mealtime.

The title refers to the average length of a western person’s lifespan, a sobering figure that hopefully reminds people to cherish the important moments in this age of digital distraction.”

Free entry until tomorrow 5pm.

Our recent collaboration with Barkindji artist , Aboriginal composer , and Immersive Technology studio .io commissioned by .square.

The project is an continuation of Kent’s photographic series also titled “Unvanished”. SJF brought together a team of artists and technicians to produce the work as one of sculpture, light, sound, water and Augmented Reality.

« By reconstructing the built environment through a First Nations lens, Morris reveals the continuing presence and patterns of Aboriginal history, culture and knowledge in the contemporary Australian landscape, despite ongoing colonial interventions in the physical and political environments.

The interaction of native birds with the built environment reflects resilience, adaption, continuity and change to ecological systems reflecting on the ways in which Indigenous culture survives and adapts. «
