Some appointments are about so much more than hair. 🤍

This beautiful mum and daughter came in together, and there was something really lovely about watching them share the experience.

Sitting side by side, chatting, laughing, having their hair done and simply enjoying a little time together.

Two different women. Two different styles. Two beautiful results. But our favourite part wasn’t actually the finished hair.

It was the togetherness of it.

Life gets busy, daughters grow up, mums have a million things to do, and sometimes those little pockets of time where you get to just sit together and enjoy each other become pretty special.

We loved having these two in our space, hearing their conversations and being a tiny part of their mother–daughter day.

And yes… they both left with pretty gorgeous hair too. 🤎

This is the kind of thing we love about Val Amoúr.
Beautiful hair is what we do, but it’s the people, the conversations and the moments in between that make our little salon what it is.

We had the beautiful Stephanie in yesterday, and oh my goodness is this woman epic. Hearing the journey she has walked. The heart of a woman who is on fire and loves deeply those around her. This is the kind of woman you sit with and know you’re a better human just by spending some time.

Stephanie received our complimentary colour & style, and oh my 😍😍😍. We got to really transform her hair- more manageable, different shade and tone of colour, and the beginning canvas for her hair journey to come. Here is our starting point, and we are all kinds of here for it.
