Plant Allocator role available
We are seeking a detail-orientated individual with an understanding or previous experience working with plant and equipment to fulfill a full-time role allocating plant and machinery to variety of jobs.
Previous Experience and Abilities:
- Preferably have worked with or have an understanding of plant and machinery terminology and requirements (mostly in regards to excavators ranging from 1.7 tonne to 22 tonne)
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to discuss hire options with confidence
- High standard of organisation skills
- A good understanding and ability to use Microsoft office products, cloud-based systems, computers, and ipads.
- Self-motivated with the ability to determine priorities and multitask.
- Forklift licence is preferable or willingness to undertake training.
The Role:
- Allocate plant and operators to ensure we are meeting our hire agreements.
- Ensure plant is maintained and registers updated
- Communicate with operators and other administration staff on job requirements
- Create positive relationships with hiring agencies and site supervisors to ensure continuity of hire
- Confidently pursue further hire opportunities
- Maintain depot to a high standard
