We are selling yellow ribbons with all proceeds going towards supporting her foundation "Strive to Be Kind Day”.

You can purchase one at the counter and wear it to show your support. Let’s continue to honour her legacy.

Last night we attended the 2026 NLNA Queensland Industry Awards Night in Brisbane and were announced as one of the nominees for the Golden Casket Newsagency of the Year.

We were really chuffed and whilst we were so happy to just be nominated and recognised for our hard work that we put in every day, we actually WON the award.🎉

So, we would like to say a huge thank you to all our customers who continue to shop locally and support us. We appreciate each and every one of you and without you, we could not have achieved this award.

Also, a massive thank you to our awesome little team! We all work really hard to continue to provide the friendly and old-school service that our customers deserve and again, without all of us working together, we couldn’t have done this.. so GO US!!!
